I’m Humaira Ikram — landscape designer, educator, and someone who thinks very hard about how we make spaces that are genuinely good for the planet and the people who inhabit them.
At Studio Ikram, every project starts with listening: to the site, to the landscape around it, and to the people who will live in it. The result is gardens and outdoor spaces that are carefully considered, ecologically minded, and — above all — beautiful to be in.
I also run the Garden Design Diploma at West Dean College and KLC School of Design, where I’ve spent years thinking about how to teach design that is creative, rigorous and rooted in the real world.
Alongside the design practice and teaching, I’m building three new ventures — you can find out more about them below.
